1 January 2014 Last December 21, Carmen Copper Corporation (“Carmen Copper”) awarded to five host and neighbouring barangays the first set of projects under its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) for 2014.

Barangays Biga and Loay, Media Once National High School and P. Del Rosario Elementary School in Barangay Don Andres Soriano will be provided new covered courts with rainwater collectors while Barangay Cantabaco will be provided with a brand-new ambulance in 2014.

The awarding ceremony was held during a Christmas thanksgiving luncheon at the Carmen Copper Staff Clubhouse attended by Toledo City Mayor John Henry R. Osmeña, some members of the City Council, officials of beneficiary barangays, Company executives and senior staff.

According to Mr. Rodrigo C.
